I began my career in the tree care industry in 1999. Early on, I became one of the youngest ISA Certified Arborists in the Pacific Northwest, a distinction that reflected my commitment to professional excellence from the start. From there, I continued to grow my expertise and advance within the private tree care industry.

In 2005, I joined the City of Seattle’s Transportation Department as Senior Urban Forester, a role I held for the next 20 years. During that time, I helped steward Seattle’s urban forest through a period of significant growth and transformation, including the development boom of 2014 and the reshaping of the city’s trees and public green spaces.

In 2008, I also became a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT, a role I continue to serve in today. In addition, I am proud to serve on my local Town Council, staying actively involved in the well-being and future of my community.

In early 2026, I founded my own company with a clear mission: to provide the South Puget Sound region with high-quality tree care that meets or exceeds industry standards.
